“ We got take out from here today and it was amazing! Such a perfect find!! I'm not sure why the reviews and ratings aren't better. I'm glad we went there despite the rating on google. I was craving some fried chicken this morning and thank God everything else was closed and we found our way to this restaurant!! Yes, they take only cash and that's not really a problem - it's not hard to get the cash from an ATM nearby or better still do your own research and come prepared with the cash. You will find the best fried fall-of-the-bones chicken ever!! The batter has a lot of flavour too and the leg and thigh pieces were the best! All the sides we got were perfect too!! Onion rings, Mac n cheese, coleslaw! The onion rings and the corn muffins do deserve special mention! Oh and the banana pudding - to die for!! The chicken sandwich was a little dry. Not the showstopper! But it's still good. Just needed more Mayo/ranch and it might work better on a different kind of bread. But it's a huge filling sandwich that you can work with. You have to get their fried chicken!! Thank you so much for the amazing food!! ”
“ I'm from San bernardino and I drive all the way just to get golden bird chicken. Very fresh, corn muffins are from scratch. All the sides are excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Workers r very courteous!!!!!! They only take cash!. ”
“ Takes me back in the days. This chicken was on point! Hot, fresh, and juicy large pieces of meat. The side tasted good too!! They have a wide variety of natural cane soda's. ”
“ I had to eat some of my chicken bits in the car because they were smellin' so good I couldn't wait till I got home. And that thin, vinegary hot sauce! So good! CASH ONLY! ”
“ This place is so good. The chicken strips are the best I think I’ve ever had. Top it off with fries and a biscuit and it’s that much better. I took a chance on the place (the curb appeal of the restaurant is not that inviting) and was pleasantly surprised! The food takes some time to prepare but the service here is excellent. This is now my go to place when I’m nearby on Western Avenue. ”
